Warehousing
We use the warehouses of our solution partners for consolidation before a shipment, distribution after arrival and transhipment.
When you need it
- Consolidation before shipment. When cargo arrives piece by piece from several suppliers, it is collected in the warehouse until it leaves as a single shipment. A container or a vehicle only departs once it is full.
- Waiting after arrival. If the consignee will not take delivery right after arrival, the cargo cannot be left at the port for long; once free time runs out, demurrage and storage charges start.
- Transhipment. When cargo moves from one mode of transport to another, for example from ship to truck or from aircraft to truck, it is taken into the warehouse in between. We plan the handling in advance and follow it through. Where needed or on request, and as far as the customs procedure and the nature of the goods allow, we offer unpacking, repacking and similar value-added services.

How it works
The warehouse is operated by our solution partner; we plan which cargo goes in, how long it stays and how it leaves. Duration and cost are given in writing at the quotation stage.
Storage time has a direct effect on cost. When you request a quote it is enough to give an approximate waiting time; it does not have to be final.
